STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS - HOW IT WORKS

At Drop The Shop Auto Inc., we want to make your experience as stress-free as possible in these 3 easy steps:

1 Call, text, email or fill out our contact form and let us know how we can serve you.

2 Provide us with the details about your vehicle (VIN preferable) and where it is located. We will provide you with an estimate for the requested service. We only do what is asked for and will keep you fully informed as work progresses. Estimates are valid for 30 days.

3 Once you have approved the work, we will schedule a time and location with you.

On your appointment date:
  • Make sure your vehicle is easily accessible including space for our service vehicle
  • Have your vehicle insurance and registration in an easy to find spot
  • Let us know where your keys will be left and where you would like them when we are finished

What is your current hourly rate?

Our rate is $150/hour (plus tax).

Do you have a minimum charge for diagnostics and repairs?
A
Yes, our minimum charge is $150.00 + tax.

What is your mobile fee?
A
Our Mobile Fee is included in our Hourly Rate, no hidden fees/costs will be added.

Do you offer any warranty?
A
Our main goal is customer satisfaction. Our warranty is 6 months or 6,000km and we honor the parts warranty offered by the manufacturer.

What is your cancellation policy?
A
If an appointment is cancelled in 24 hours or less there is a $50 cancellation fee plus any freight charges or restocking fees on parts that have been ordered

Are you Insured?
A
YES! Our service vehicle and technicians, along with your vehicle AND property are fully insured!

How can I pay?
A
Currently we accept most credit/debit cards and E-transfers!

Will you do any work that is not approved?
A
No! We only do the work that is approved. If further services are needed, we will first get approval to continue.

When will I know my vehicle is ready?
A
We will contact you when it is ready; however, it is still recommended you let us know where you would like us to leave your keys in case we can't reach you.

How long are your estimates valid for?
A
Our Estimates are valid for 30 days after they are sent.

Do you work all year round?
A
Yes, we work all year round in the snow/rain/sun, however we reserve the right to cancel an appointment due to unsafe or poor conditions.

Do you clean up after the repairs?
A
Yes, we make sure to clean up all oil/fluid messes and remove all garbage created from the repairs, however mud/dirt/rust must be dealt with by the customer (we recommend washing the vehicle beforehand).
